Sofia Beschen on location in HawaiiSet to hit newsstands February 21 polybagged with the April Issue of SURFING and bound into subscriber copies, the magazine is 94 pages of editorial stories, where-to-buy information and bathing suit pictorials. In addition, photo outtakes will be available on surfingthemag.com, as well as a “flipbook” for web surfers to browse.

This year’s edition features three stories shot by three different photographers, all under the creative direction of industry veteran stylist Michelle Ponce. “Bikini Country” featuring the world’s finest up and coming surfers, Erica Hoessini, Kira Sheppard and Karlee Mackee was shot on location in Vancouver, Canada. Another story, shot on Oahu’s North Shore, features the wives and girlfriends of six professional surfers like world champion Sunny Garcia as well as 3-time world champion, Andy Irons.
