In a staggering display of petulance, the Pacific held its water all through the Billabong Pro Tahiti waiting period, leaving the Tour hanging but for some head-high tubes. Then, just days after Andy Irons babbled a giddy acceptance of the Billabong Pro title, the reef gave birth to this healthy swell. SURFING’s Jeff Flindt was, luckily, still on hand to capture the late delivery.
