The mid-Atlantic’s top tier teens and pre-teens flocked to the Outer Banks this past Saturday to go for broke in the 3rd stop on Rip Curl’s annual Grom Search. Duking it out in waist-high peaks, the kids used every ounce of their energy to carve out permanent places for themselves in the East Coast’s up-and-coming ranks. Either way, Rip Curl’s Grom Search brought the international spotlight to the OBX.
