Now that all that silly soccer business is done with, South Africa’s real sporting event can get underway. Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Billabong Pro J-Bay waiting period for the ASP World Tour surfers, following a two-month break between contests. Some, including countrymen Travis Logie and Jordy Smith, caught live World Cup action in Joburg before descending on Jeffreys this week. Now everyone’s ready to get back to business, and there’s plenty of swell on tap.
