Set at the historic Beverly Hills Hotel, the night featured a silent auction, live performances by Jackson Browne, Miles Doughty of Slightly Stoopid and Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, and a live auction that helped raise over $370,000 for LRO, making this year’s gala the most successful in its four-year history. LRO founder Jesse Billauer helped welcome the crowd that featured celeb guests like Paris Hilton and Molly Sims, who along with her “Las Vegas” co-stars lent support to the first ever Visionary Award recipient, “Las Vegas” producer Gary Scott Thompson, for his addition of a spinal cord injured character on the show. Inspiring stories from LRO ambassador Ricky James and exciting research developments presented by Hans Keirstead, PhD, left guests stoked for next years event and hopeful for finding a cure for SCI.
