Remembering Andy Irons
Sunday, November 14th at 12:30 on the south side of the Huntington beach Pier. Immediately following the service there will be an honorary Paddle-Out to pay tribute to his legacy.
Please join us as we gather to remember the life of Andy Irons in a memorial paddle out in Huntington Beach

SURFING has confirmed that Andy Irons has passed away, reportedly of Dengue Fever. More details to come.

i can’t even believe this… the kid went through so much, to come so far, to be so content in making his life rich with wife and child… and to be taken out by such a freak of nature (a tropical fever brought on by a mosquito bite) is just mind blowing to say the least. I didn’t know him but I did know him… we all went through the same growth process in the water’s pecking order and outside it. I admired him and how he overcame his problems… a great surfer and person. There are no words to express it…I’ll be driving up and paddling out to pay respect 11/14.

His family will be at Hanalei Bay on that Sunday for him, not HB pier
I am speechless. So talented and so young. RIP Andy Irons I hope your shredding the waves in heaven. and my condolences to the Irons family.
I’ll be there! if i could have make it out to Hanalei Bay i would have. But i will pay my respects as i paddle out in HB pier, for who i consider to be a LEGEND. may you rest in peace.
