Sorry, We’re Open will debut online tomorrow (Wednesday, 7/27) here at surfingmagazine.com. That’s a $29.99 value, yours free with this offer! It’s SUPERbrand’s first surf movie, Kai Neville Studios edited it, the soundtrack is pretty nice, and it’s damn fun to watch. Incidentally, the soundtrack will be available on SUPERbrand’s site tomorrow as well, so go explore it after you watch the video. For now, here’s a bunch of preview photos from the film trips, with insider insight from SUPERbrand’s Hagan Kelly.

The “Sorry, We’re Open” stars: Clay Marzo, Ry Craike and Dion Agius, with appearances from Dane Zaun, Gabriel Villaran and Lee Wilson.
Dion Agius is a big part of the art team at SUPERbrand. He has a say on boards before they go out the door. Here he is with his signature board, the SUPERcraft.
Did you know Dion’s in four major surf movies this year? There’s this SUPERbrand project, his personal movie Thanks for the Dinner and the Sex, Kai Neville’s Lost Atlas, and Globe’s 0000. That’s on top of the footage that’s on his blog, .tv/dion. A man on the move!
Dion has called Clay Marzo some sort of non-human cat. This photo, where Clay yo-yo’s his tail out there, is one reason why.
Nighttime, backlit, and elaborately staged surf action photography. We’ve seen a lot of it lately, but we still think it’s neat to look at. Ry Craike.
Indo boat trips. Invariably things get weird, beers get swilled, shit gets talked — then the spray cans come out and someone’s board is getting sacrificed. This time it was Ry’s magic 6’0” pro model entitled the SUPERmastablasta. Clay fell in love with it and rode it and got most of his best clips of the trip on it. And for that, thanks Ry! You’re the best.
We went to blast in the shorebreak down from Lance’s left. This grom popped out of the jungle with his board: the sawed off back of a broken board…with no fins. Kid had the most amazing style — Curranesque. He traded a few slides with Marzo and the 12-year-old then casually cruised in and disappeared back into the jungle.
Dane Zaun here is from LA. He’s a big kid and does some ridiculous shit in the air. Oh, and he helped design one of SUPERbrand’s best new boards, the SUPERmodel.
After surfing lefts all day, we pulled up on this beautiful little right. It was perfect: last few hours of light, oil glass, four feet, draining and no one out. Clay and Ry blazed out and put on a show, which ended up being the first section of Sorry, We’re Open. It’s irie.
