Editor's Note: In our January 2008 Annual Surfboard Design issue, a printer's error of disastrous proportions occurred in our first annual Surfer/Shaper article. Featuring five of the world's premier shapers with their favorite riders at the Kandui resort in the Mentawais, it documented real-time feedback where it matters most: in the lineup. Unfortunately, something bad occurred after the mag left our offices and headed to the printer. We're still not sure how it happened, but the text repeated on two consecutive spreads and deleted about 500 words. It's a huge bummer for everyone, but fortunately we have the web.
