posted by / News / March 7, 2007

WaveridersGallery.com, a site devoted to promoting artists and photographers who celebrate the simple act of waveriding, has debuted with an extensive collection of signed, limited-edition offerings.

Mediums include canvas, paper, film, digital impression, wood and foam. Prices range from $20 to $5,000, with custom framing available for most pieces.

Some WaveridersGallery.com artists are debuting their work online, while others are well known in the surfing and art worlds. Artists new to the Web, and their mediums, include Meegan Feori, Chris Bolden and Ea Eckerman. Established painters include Ken Auster, Pat Tobin, Wade Koniakowsky, and Kevin Short.

Prints from renowned surf photographers Brian Bielmann, Sean Davey, and Scott Winer also are available at www.WaveridersGallery.com. In addition, master shaper Danny Hess offers his artistic custom surfboards and diorama artist Malcolm Wilson features his surf-themed wall-art models.

“It’s rare to find so much talent devoted to glorifying waveriding and ocean-themed fine art in one place,” said Jeff Grant, longtime surfer and president of WaveridersGallery.com. “By offering their works to the public, we help support and nurture surf art in all its expressions.”

Surf-themed books and posters also can be purchased at www.WaveridersGallery.com. The Waveriders Gallery artists also will produce commissioned works of art for corporate buyers, including murals and themed art for restaurants, hotels and offices.

“The site was created by a group of Web-savvy, passionate waveriders who were having a very difficult time finding really good surf-related art,” Grant said. “And we’re always looking for new artists in any medium to feature on our site.”

Site visitors can order online, or by calling 877-539-2680 toll-free or 858-539-2680 locally. Artists interested in having their creations featured should send information about themselves and their work to info@WaveridersGallery.com.
