Meet the Surfers Of Surfing’s 2006 World Championship Tour

The luckiest people on earth have to be the 2006 WCT tour qualifiers. Just in time for Christmas, the 2006 Top 45 has been decided. After battling it out around the globe for the last 11 months, 45 surfers now have a ticket to surf the world’s greatest surf breaks waiting for them under the proverbial Christmas tree.

With destinations in 2006 such as Hawaii, Teahupo’o, Tavarua, J-Bay, and Mundaka, this year promises to be another great opportunity to see the world’s best surfers at the world’s best breaks. With one soon-to-be-named destination, (somewhere in Mexico) the 12 stops on this year’s tour are bound to test each of the surfer’s ability to the fullest.
