The 2011 Atlantic Hurricane Season has been underway for a couple months already, but as we all know, the activity doesn’t really flare up until August or September. This year feels extra special with the Quiksilver Pro New York addition and the ECSC (the poor man’s US Open) being upgraded to an ASP 4-Star. Tropical waves are starting to bunch-up off the Cape Verde Islands, which translates to East Coast action very soon. Here’s 10 photos to remind you how fun waves can be over on the right side. —Jimmicane

    Surfing Mag, For realz?! If you’re gonna drop a Jersey Shore joke (sooo last year) about NJ, at least spell the lil’ bronzed meatball’s name right. It’s Snooki not Snookie…. And Sam Hammer deserves more than that.
