This is Pat Gudauskas at Rocky Lefts. Guys like Mason Ho, Dillon Perillo, Flynn Novak and the Gudangs were out and all of them were hucking the gnarliest airs into the wind. But Pat, stood out the most to me.

Taylor Knox, OTW. I stay with the Rip Curl guys at their pad and it’s really fun to get them motivated to shoot. This day looked really stormy from the house, but Taylor got psyched and went out there and managed to get a few tubes and mean turns.

Matt Wilkinson, OTW. There’s been a lot of windy, kinda stormy days lately, but the clouds still make for some interesting shots.

Julian Wilson, OTW. This was on the day that Sea Bass won Haleiwa and I was over at the Oakley house shooting some portraits of him. I turn around and Julian was on this wave.

Kolohe Andino, Backdoor. I like this shot because although it’s pretty zoomed in, it shows the whole line he takes. There’s just some real movement in this one.

Gabriel Medina, OTW. On the smaller off days, he’s been doing so many crazy airs. Some attempting, some landing.

I´ve been bitching about this for a while, but it would be nice if you guys went into some technical details about the shots. I´d rather know what lens are you using, or the shutter speed on that Taylor shot than who was the highlight of the session. Just saying, share the knowledge.
@Felipe, Here is the technical data for that Taylor Knox Shot. Nikon d300s, 70-200mm, 2x converter, 270mm, iso 100, f36, 1/13s. hope this helps. let me know if you want know about any of the other images.
@felipe, doesn’t work all the time, but sometimes I’ve been able to just save the image to my hard drive and open up in photoshop to take a look at the camera data.
further proof that Corey Wilson is the nicest human on earth.
