IF the thermostat drops below a frigid 55 degrees here in Southern California the morning news sends out urgent warnings advising people to stay indoors. Needless to say, we have it pretty easy out here in our aggressively mild climate. The Northeast, on the other hand, enjoys the changing of seasons. They enjoy white Christmases and golden brown leafs in Autumn. But with these changes also comes the occasionally brutal face of a large winter storm.
Over the last seventy two hours, storm Jonas has rattled the East Coast with record snowfall, high winds, and pumping surf – so you can probably guess what we’re going to latch onto, huh?
