When we caught SURFING’s DJ Struntz, he’d just landed home in North Carolina and was still at the airport following a productive stay on the North Shore — diving for tiger sharks with Mark Healey, shooting last week’s Pipe swell for 10 hours straight one day (no food, no water, no touching dry land), and generally being a legend.
