“I spend a lot of time hanging out at the Oakley House near Off The Wall when Backdoor is breaking or when Off The Wall is good. Rico Jimenez overlooks the Oakley house. When Pipeline is breaking, I’ll hang at the Quiksilver Pipe house where Reef McIntosh reigns and care-takes. I like to stop by their house and check the waves and conditions. Here’s five photos from the down days — the days when it’s stormy or the waves are pretty much flat.
