Although surfing is a subjective activity, Kelly Slater sure makes it easy to like him no matter what when he does this turn. Two heats yesterday, two wins.

Well look at Owen go! Battling through a scary heat this morning against John John, Owen battled back a confident backhand attack for a 9 in the waning seconds and the win.

John John Florence is beginning to nuzzle back into the spotlight he spent much of his childhood in. Only this time he brought a new style and approach that's unparalleled at the moment in surfing.

IT's kind of hard to write this caption about Brett Simpson losing when you think about how well he surfed. Many would even say better than his opponent Joel Parkinson...
