Instagram: Mikala Jones

Mikala Jones’ father was a surf photographer. While all his siblings (brothers Daniel and Keoni and sister Malia) are best known for their work in front of the camera, MJ’s been mostly applying his shutterbug gene to board-mounted cameras, hand-held tube shots and a variety of other in-water, on-wave, otherwise-unattainable imagery. Impending Hipstomatic addiction was a given. Splitting time between homes in Bali and Hawaii, at home and on the road, here’s a few direct from his iPhone.

Iphone is hardly the ideal tool for shooting lineups. But sometimes they turn out.

    wait. how did you get instagram to go back in time to shoot that pic of your mom? was she tripping out on an iphone?
