It was almost a go. Boost Mobile Pro contest director Mike Parsons timed the sets, saw the hint of a south in the water and the inconsistent chest-high sets…and decided to push his luck one more day. “Not enough waves,” he declared, admitting that he pretty much has to run no matter what tomorrow. Be prepared for a few heats in some marginal conditions over the next few days. The good news, though, is that Saturday’s forecast is looking better by the minute. If they can get through the next two rounds, they should be golden. Until then, this is what they’ll be dealing with. Here’s a sampling from this morning’s supersession in not-so-super conditions.
