They call it the land of the rising sun. It’s the mecca of sushi, the birthplace of the samurai. It’s Japan — and it goes off. Body Glove dispatched a crew of Cheyne Magnusson, Zeke Lau and Anthony Walsh to the seas of the far east. They scored. Brent Bielmann was there to capture the moments and the trip made its way into SURFING Magazine’s May 2014 Issue with Chas Smith’s story about the ongoing Fukushima disaster. Here are all the photos that didn’t find a home in print.

This trip also earned a segment in Body Glove’s movie, Live From The Moon. LFTM will be streaming for free on surfingmagazine.com Wednesday-Friday of this week. Pro-tip: Don’t miss it.
