North Shore Live Lightbox

posted by / Photos / November 17, 2006

With the North Shore not exactly firing on all cylinders, you’d think it would be difficult to come up with rad photos everyday, but with patios full of the frothiest surfers in the world and SURFING’S lens men hard at work, it’s easy as spending $9 bucks on cereal at Foodland.. As you’ll see in this Lightbox John John has been having a field day at miniature Backdoor, displaying Bruce-like domination in waist high drainers. And like the big wave magnets they are, Shane Dorian and Ian Walsh have been finding stand up barrels along the ripple-sized North Shore. So, check out these images we plucked right from the sand at Off the Wall and Backdoor. And be sure to check back twice a week for the fresh good. North Shore Live! Aloha.
