
This is from Nias. The swell was a weird direction and the main point was really small. So we went for a little boat ride to find this wave. Laurie was charging as usual, nice stand tall casual barrel.

This is Laurie having a good old time in the river near his home. His brother, who is a fisherman, organized a fishing trawler to drive past the banks of the river and make little waves for a Creative Destruction episode.

'I like surfing at the beach'. Another picture in Laurie's family house. I never found out if Laurie actually drew this. But Laurie does like surfing at the beach.

Two of Lauries favorite past times: Surfing and fishing. The garage is filled with a quiver abundant in both.
