The Santa Cruz Harbor from land. I'll have fun shooting this wave for the rest of my life. I like the angle from land because you can see the wharf and west cliff and waves breaking. You can also see how below sea level it is.

Any wave from a helicopter. It's so fun making photographs while hanging out of a helicopter. Jamie O.

The Mentawai's from a fisheye. Shooting this right in the Mentawai's was one of the most productive and fun things I have ever done. Taj Burrow.

The Harbor from water. Shooting this guy at this wave from the water is my favorite of all these places. Nothing else compares to seeing one of your best friends get barreled a few feet from the jacks at a spot he has so much history with. Josh Mulcoy.
