Really? That’s amazing that you can judge the entire competition on the basis of a single photo posted on the SURFING website. You should probably talk to the people at Follow the Light to see if you can get a position, they’d definitely save a lot of money if you were at the helm.

that is beautiful, i an artist, very inspiring..
Look you guys are priming these young kids in the art of surf photography which is all fine and good, but are you also priming them for the business sides of things ??
Rates, Respect and paying your dues ?
I question the motives behind these kids as to why they actually want to be surf photographers, or maybe the magazines want cheap labour ?
Lets see their best TEN Photos ranging from all aspects of SURF photography then it will be clear to see who as an eye for it !
One photo will not cut it at all.
To succeed they will have to know how to shoot more than Fisheye.
