Here's Barney with a circa 1986 shot up near his zone in Santa Cruz. Barney's a legend. One of the funniest people I've ever met.

I used to shoot HB a lot. I don't know what happened. This day was super fun with little wedges popping up everywhere on the shorebreak. Brogie Panesi with a rad punt for a little guy.

Here's Chase Wilson up in LA. This day was so fun. Or at least for me. I guess you'd call it work for everyone else pulling into closeouts.

This wave of Conor Beatty in LA was so sick. The thing just grew and grew. He traveled for quite a while. Definitely the wave of the day.

Here's Dillon again up near his house kind of. This session was so fun. It was a good start to our road trip.

Dillon Perillo with a little fin blast up in NorCal. This day was so fun. It felt like a warm summer day. Not a drop of wind, no one else out and cold beers. Sign me up.

barney photo is best
hey bra, was it a fun day?
Pretty average photos, looks like a couple of closeout tube shots that anyone could have taken at their home beach break over any winter period, with a handful of fin throws and airs. Yaaay California!
Those 3 photos of that spot in LA would make you think it was an epic barreling left. Then you get there and realize its all close outs with maybe 1 out of 20 being makable.
That place is the Off the Wall of California in terms of photo hoaxes. Does make for great shots though haha
Any twerp can buy a yellow SPL waterhousing on Monday, get Canon gear expressed out to him on Tuesday, and then, with no actual talent or training, swim out in 3 foot closeouts with a fisheye lens on Wednesday to capture images that are represented here. The bar is so low it appears that it is time for a limbo dance!
