Ten years ago Daewon Song doodled a logo on a napkin. That doodle turned out to be the first ever Matix logo and has since blossomed the brand into a power player in the surf, skate and snow world. Thursday night, to celebrate 10 years as a brand Matix released a {{{300}}}-page book of glossy photos in classic coffee table form called: This is Progress. The book features portraits, interviews, action photos and ad campaigns and the stories behind them. To kick off the book, which is available for $50.00 on their website, they tossed a little party in Hollywood. In attendance were Gable Kling, Micah Byrne, Ricky Whitlock, Daewon Song and tons of skaters and shredders who sipped on free Coors products and threw a few maneuvers on the dance floor.
