OBX is a great place for surfing on the East Coast. Under favorable conditions the rides are short but the barrels are hollow. And I think Struntz is a great photographer is really admirable for incorporating many different locations in his works. : ) I'm willing to bet he's traveled the globe about 13,000,000 times.
