Greetings From Padang Padang

This past Saturday, August 1, the waiting period for the Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang Invitational kicked of with small but perfect, reeling teasers. Last year this time, the 'CT Search event was gearing up to take over Padang Padang; an abandoned Taiwanese fishing trawler had run aground on the reef and spewed fresh sushi and toxic oil into the lineup; and Bruce Irons was, unknowingly, about to seal his retirement from the World Tour with a win to his name. Action packed, we know. Well, things are still hot in Bali and with this full 30-day waiting period to work with, there's no question that the Invitational will end in spectacular fashion. Should have an all Brazzo comp in Santa Catarina to permit maybe five Brazzo's to go down through the cave all year (excluding females, but have a boogie comp for them too, or g-string competition). Hands down the most ridiculous behavior in the water anywhere....except when it's really, really on, then the Balo's hold it down very proper! Gotta love the beach scene, chicks-good, guys in spandex shorts-not good! Hope event goes off and if Bruno wins, I wouldn't be suprised, the guys knows how to surf, but that's one in five million.
