Skeleton Bay, Africa - A Google Earth Challenge II discovery As reported in our December Issue(Africa On Location), Cory Lopez made an eleventh-hour return visit to Skeleton Bay, the site chosen for this year’s Google Earth Challenge II. Cory had to bail to the US Open before our magic day in July, and he vowed to make it back. This was his first wave, sometime in early September, which gives you an idea of how long this wave really is.
Make sure to watch the time. His wave is about 1min:21secs and well, hes slotted the whole time.
Be sure to check all the footage coming out soon in Lost’s upcoming film, 5’5” x 19 ¼”: Redux.
