I was on a 4-gig tour to the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, just the boys. I was going to do a painting on the wall of one of the clubs we played at. I didn’t have any ideas and had to do it the day we left. At four in the morning, I bought this book and started drawing like crazy to get an idea. Then I couldn’t stop drawing the whole weekend.
