SURFING’s Europe Issue profiled Irish slabber Fergal Smith. This short film profiles the man who takes Fergal’s picture: Mickey Smith, no relation. Maybe you’ve seen this before, but maybe you should see it again.

    Irish surfing has become something else-something different than the rest of the international surfing world. I hope the innocence and heaviness of what these guys are doing continues on for many decades, and exploitation of that region of the world stays at a minimum

    I watched an awesome documentary about surf photographers on the North Shore called Fiberglass and Megapixels, A must see if you like this short film.
