Sherm shadows the man, cam in hand
Nobody goes behind the scenes like SURFING’s Steve Sherman. He’s got more access to the stars than their own team managers. Usually, though, his tool is a digital SLR and his bounty is stills. Any surf fan knows Sherm’s signature B&W images from across a room: Kelly cracking up, Taj looking Dirty Harry. Now, through his upstart Guerilla Film Werks, Sherm and his 18 year-old nephew shoot and edit exclusive video footage that looks down the proverbial shirt of the surfing world. In this first installment, they present Dane Reynolds in Mundaka. Please dim the lights.
