“Surf,” as a verb, has no concrete definition. Does it count as surfing if you bring a board in the water and paddle around on it for a little while? Do you have to catch a wave in order to surf? Do you have to get to your feet on a wave in order to surf? Do you have to get barreled in order to surf? Does anyone care?
We don’t. That’s why we’re claiming that this bird surfs. At Teahupo’o, nonetheless. The feathered phantom has more balls than your average QSer out there. Watch the video and see for yourself.
