Indonesia is a special place.
The archipelago is pelted with swell for eight months of the year, and that just so happens to coincide with offshore winds for many regions. One of these regions is the island of Nias, which holds one of Indo’s crown jewels — Lagundri Bay. The medium-length right hander offers a rippable wall when smaller and a freight train barrel when 6-foot plus. The trade winds groom it offshore almost every day, meaning that Lagundri has a grocery list of epic days every season. This video is a compilation of several great sessions at the Bay.
