Looks like a decent young surfer. But a wildcard into an elite event…just as much B.S. as giving one to Perillio. Instead of giving the wildcard to the guys actually slugging it in what was once the QS, Rippy awards the entries based on marketing strategies. They need to realize that these decisions diminish the “elite” tour.
