Power is everything. Ian Gentil and Alex Gray were born a decade apart. And ten years change many things, but no length of time could ever satisfy our yearn to turn. And so here, in 2013, we see 17-year-old Ian and 27-year-old Alex playing a game of power.
Ian’s approach is very tiger-esque. Nimble and quick, he bottom turns straight up and demolishes every drop of water that thought it might take a year off after college and become a lip. Meanwhile, Alex’s is awfully bear-like. He comes in horizontally and mauls a closeout section to death, even adding a lay-back for great measure. It is a game of power, yes, but it is also a game of preference.
